SoXo's Call Me A Biscuit (Mantequilla)

Mantequilla, nicknamed Monty, is my keep-back from the Natural Disaster Litter (Prismo x Taika.) There was something special about him right from the get-go, but I did my best to remain unbiased as the puppies grew and developed. He made it hard, though! As soon as he could see, Monty (previously Typhoon) would make every possible effort to crawl to me, interact with me, and demand my attention. No one was surprised when, after evaluations, I announced that he would be staying with me.

Monty is a uniquely confident dog, self-assured in ways I rarely see in any breed, certainly not often in Xolos. He carries himself with the bold confidence of a dog who thinks the world was made for him, and him alone. He is on the more social end for a Xolo, though at his current age exhibits some of the typical adolescent xolo suspicion towards strangers who approach the house. Out and about he's very forward with people and other dogs, eager to interact and solicit attention and food. He exhibits phenomenal food drive, play drive, and absolutely loves to work his brain and demands his training sessions eagerly. So far he shares his mother's remarkable pattern-mapping capability, and is particularly adaptable. 

Monty has truly set the bar for the temperaments I want my program to produce, and I could not be more excited for our future together!
